I knew our country was in tough shape when I couldn’t even pick a fictional place to live or travel.
Even in web surfing fantasy world, the gas was too high for a road trip. Air travel was either too expensive, black out dates, or one way. The cities were foreclosing, crime-ridden, and over run with corrupt politicians (gloomy outlook.)
Are there any people who actually do love where they live?
Today I heard a story about a man who shot two women in our city, because they turned down his advances. Another group of guys shot a woman in the head twice an beat up her one year old. It’s pathetic to watch people abuse their freedom. I stand up for Justice!
I am so sick of our messed up use of freedom. I don’t actually mean that our nation is completely messed up. I just mean that I am just fed up with our SPEND, SPEND, SPEND Gov’t and you can talk back to your momma, kids.
I’m sick of senseless crime, and people who violate the meaning of personal freedoms.
I’m sick of the prejudices against every race.
I’m sick of drug addicts destroying their families’ lives.
I’m sick
People think we are free… but are we?
We have spoiled ourselves sick with gluttonous ways of toxic freedom.
Freedom needs RESPECT for life and personal dignity. Simple self-respect makes basic life choices function properly.
Freedom needs inward restraint. That’s right, from the inside out and not the outside in. No Gov’t can make it. Freedom needs intrinsic motivation, not domination. We have lost our way; we spit in the face of authority based on our “freedoms.”
We act like we have the freedom to break laws, when really we should be kissing the ground that gives us our own personal choices to make. Some other countries do not believe in any individual rights. They silence all free thought. I pray we never follow that road to it’s full extent, although we had begun to tread it.
I want our country to always push back against people who throw wheelchair bound people to the ground and rob them. I want justice to still exist.
I want to be a country that suffocates people’s rights who abuse, mutilate, and rape our citizens.
I believe we should try water boarding sex offenders, let them decide if it’s torture… If it is we’ll use it more on them, then they can warn the terrorists acting out against our country…. “This is what they do to citizens who hurt citizens, what do you think they’ll do to you?”
While we are on a roll, the US must monitor all illegal US immigrants and secure a border.
If someone mocks freedom then they shouldn’t mind losing it. Break the law one time, illegal immigrants and you are GONE! That would make everything simpler. Oh wait, they did break the law. They illegally crossed the border.
Why bother with 2 hours of custom inspections and airport security if we don’t check names at our borders on on our streets?
Let’s strap an electronic monitoring device on them. We can borrow Lindsay Lohan’s ankle bracelet, amp it up and strap them on anyone not here correctly. Want it taken off? Apply correctly.
Here’s the line. Other wise, don’t let the immigration gate hit you on the way out.
Come on, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that if the US really wanted the border closed it would be.
They let it be porous for at least 10 reasons
1. Money flows in (drugs) who knows what else…
2. Cheap labor flows in
3. When bad things happen we have an excuse
4. Some people are benefiting from it & passing on those benefits to lawmakers.
5. It won’t buy votes (it’s not a top 3 issue: War, Healthcare, and Economy)
6. Its so Tancredo, last year issue….
7. Cause the white house brownies won’t be as much fun
8. Border towns have year round Cinco De Mayo
9. Swine flu isn’t that bad yet, oops we cried wolf… we’ll try harder next time
10. California, Arizona, Texas, & New Mexico Cops need crime to stay busy
I wish I had a million dollars to give away to victims or family members of victims of violent crimes. It burns me up that people actually think its ok to not keep track of criminals in our country. Just monitor them already. Forget political correctness; call it amnesty, what ever… just make anyone breaking the law wear a device.
This same illegal immigration monitoring device should also be worn by repeat law offenders or first time sex offenders. Theirs should be set to go off when they come in too close of proximity to certain safe kids’ zones. Schools, playgrounds, kids’ stores, or play areas could all have monitoring sensors that would detect a predator too close. It’s one thing to talk about this. I want to make this happen. I need support, and know how to pass this objective on to skilled technologically saavy people.
I hate that our country will let murder after murder happen before ever thinking of these things. I can shout this from the rooftops, and I’ll still hear whining. (Their rights… blah, blah, blah… they have no official rights if they ignore our laws)
I want a place where my house and car is not broken into.
I want Fair Tax.
I want to live in a country that doesn’t tax the life out of job creators and sustainers.
I want to pay for my own health care, but I want price gorging PPO’s and HMO’s to stop living like oil tycons.
I want oil tycons to have to be stuck in a room with Perez Hilton, Sanjaya (from American Idol), Kate (from John and Kate plus 8 ) and Ms. California for a month straight.
Prices will drop, and they will suddenly support green energy products, just to get them to shut up and go away. ( I actually like all these people in small doses, keyword small.)
I want to live somewhere, that doesn’t have creepy next door neighbors who do unspeakable things.
WHAT is WRONG with people? WHY are they destroying all good things?
I believe it is because if they can’t have it, then they think that nobody should.
Well wake up… as long as you are still breathing… you can still have the greatest gift of all. Life. You dumb asses. Life. You have the chance to live for something.
Grow up and make the jobs of tomorrow instead of breaking into all our town stores. Looting all our merchandise is really unimaginative. If you really want to shock and awe us, read a book.
I’m sick of people who can’t take time to learn about where we came from. If you look at history, you will see the paths are not all that different, even though the characters are. Time changes one main thing alone and that is perspective.
When will we wake up and realize slavery is over? Freedom Reigns.
When will we realize our buildings really were destroyed on September 11th?
And yet they did not kill us all, and FREEDOM REIGNS!
When will people realize that IRAQ, Afghanistan, and Pakistan affect us?
Declare unabashed ferocity in the face of our enemies, for FREEDOM!
Will people finally wake up when terrorists slaughter us one by one on video here in the US?
Will people finally wake up when it’s not longer safe to ride on our buses?
Will mothers and fathers actually pursue the truth through all means if their own child is kidnapped by terrorist cells here in the US?
Will families believe in war to create peace, when Iran tries to strike Israel and then Europe?
What the crap is wrong with our people? WAKE UP! They steal us, slit our throats here, and we will all start screaming for enhanced interrogations.
Passive attitude is bull crap. You can take out the words WAR on TERROR, but you cannot un-brainwash suicide bombers lying in wait. The humanitarian crisis overseas, poor ground intelligence and pansy policies are castrating our mission.
Why does it take so much to shake us from our complacency? When will people stop avoiding good things for our country (even if it takes real sacrifice?)
I’m sick of talk show host who say they hope our president and our country fails. (Rush Limbaugh) What the crap is wrong with you?
The president and our country fail, you fail too. Idiot! And yes I have resorted to name calling. I am so sick of the boated stench from the rotting corpse of politics.
I’m sick of democrats and republicans. I’m just sicker of Dems right now. I lean right (barely), because there is nothing left. Is there a category for bitter disenfranchised?
Besides libertarian, although that might get me some nice feedback if people think I slipped up and meant “Librarian”. There is something sexy and forbidden about a hot prep school librarian. I might be on to something; hot smart people tend to be libertarian. Now I’m wandering, I’ll get back to topic.
Our lawmakers want to live like bullemic rockstars. They spluge on second houses, travel well, and pump up their election accounts. Then they make sure to barf up a bill or two to mock us.
Politicians should work for free or even on commissions. You get paid when your represented populace agrees you’ve voted as they would have. Let’s vote on it.
Let’s see who would run for office if it was unpaid position. We’ll freeze your debts, but you make nothing while in office. You get small 2 bedroom apt or house in your district. You cannot receive lobbyist gifts! Good bye crap bills.
I have no idea where in the US that I could actually make a home for myself. I do like things about the US. I do love people in the US, so why is it so hard for me to find a home state here?
I guess that home is where you are, whenever you are there, where ever there is.
When the United States, acts like the “United States” I’ll call it all my home state.
